Jawi for little hands, one shape at a time
Digital Jawi makes short, printable lessons that teach the Jawi script to children aged 4 to 6. Letters that share a shape are taught together, so a child learns one stroke and gets several letters.
20 minit sehari, bukan 1,000 helai.
Fewer pages, taught in the right order
Parents and preschool teachers in Malaysia can already buy worksheet packs with thousands of pages for a few ringgit. Most are a pile of sheets with no order and no checking.
Digital Jawi goes the other way. Each book is short, follows the national preschool curriculum (KSPK), and repeats the same routine in every lesson so a child always knows what comes next. Every Jawi letter and word is proofread by a fluent reader before release.
Every lesson follows the same five steps
One lesson takes about 20 minutes with a parent or teacher.
- Lihat & SebutLook at the letter and say its name aloud.
- SurihTrace the letter along dotted lines.
- Cari HurufFind the letter hidden among others.
- WarnakanColour a picture that goes with the letter.
- Baca BersamaRead a short example word together.
Book 1 covers all 37 Jawi letters in 10 lessons
Kenal Huruf Jawi is a 28-page A4 book, mostly black and white so it prints cheaply at home or at school.
